AMG is an independent, privately owned brokerage general agency that
offers a complete array of insurance products and services to insurance
professionals in many states throughout the country. We represent dozens
of insurance companies, allowing us to provide independent producers
with a wide range of insurance solutions to meet any need, especially
those of small business owners and other affluent individuals.
As a Houston-based partnership organized to assist insurance
agents, insurance agencies and registered representatives, we view
agents as a trusted ally, providing them with the loyalty of a business
partner and the economics of an outside vendor.
Our experienced marketing representatives, advanced underwriting
expertise, new business specialists, and extensive impaired risk
underwriting expertise allow us to match your clients underwriting needs
with the appropriate product and carrier, a service widely valued in

Our Staff
Ed Massey – A founding
partner in AMG, Massey has been involved in the financial services
industry since 1978. Starting in personal sales, he has a true
understanding of the needs of the writing agent. With a background in
computer systems and office operations, he is responsible for the
operational support needed to give AMG the resources necessary to
respond to agent’s needs.

Steve Gresso – is a
graduate of Southwest State University. Gresso joined the insurance
profession in 1986 as a brokerage manager with R.E. Lee of Houston,
until the sale of the company in 1994. He joined the Shaw Company in
1994 as a brokerage manager and then joined Bisys subsequently after
their purchase of Shaw Company in 2002. Gresso joined AMG in 2004 where
he specializes in life insurance, long-term care, qualified plans and
annuities. Areas of interest include estate planning, business insurance
and continuation planning, deferred compensation plans, qualified plans
and planning for seniors.

Heather Matias – comes
from a diverse background which includes real estate, utilities and even
culinary management. She has always had a passion for technology and
learning and has been putting both to good use at AMG since 2006. She
has grown into the industry quickly, putting her problem solving and
analytical skills to the test while processing various requests from our
agents. With a knack for organization, she has set a standard for
efficiency among her colleagues. In her off time, she enjoys taking in

Angela Moore – With an
impressive professional background, Moore brings extensive industry
experience, product knowledge and sales and retention expertise to her
role as a brokerage manager at AMG. Prior to joining AMG, Moore served
as a senior account manager at Hays Companies. In that capacity, Moore
assisted in pioneering a complete marketing program to attract and
retain customers. Additional experiences include Moore’s roles as a
renewal specialist at BenefitMall and account executive at Dental
Select, where she consulted and educated the broker community on carrier
plan designs and products.

Lynda Lambert ACS, AIAA
Our life insurance new business case manager, Lynda also serves as
your personal assistant,
her primary goal is to turn your submitted business into placed
policies as quickly and efficiently as possible. She works directly with
our many carriers utilizing Agency Worksİ technology to
electronically submit and track cases throughout the underwriting
process.
